About the campaign

The beYOUtiful campaign was born out of a realization: that women who do not have time for themselves or suffer from poor self-image, in other words those who could benefit the most from my Glamour sessions – often can not afford such experience. Therefore, I partnered with the extraordinary make-up artists from Aleksandra Ambrozy studio, great Malvern florist – Cottage Flowers, and a budding videographer – Austin Smock, to create this special experience for some women – free of any charge!

I was overwhelmed with the response – we needed to create a wait-list. The experience turned out so great for the women that were able to participate! But not only for them, for my make up artists and staff also! There were so many amazing things coming out of the campaign that I would love to continue it and make it an on-going thing.

I need your help to make it happen! I depend on generous donors to continue this work. If you are in a position to sponsor one woman in this campaign, please consider to do so! See more information on the Donate Session page.

Take action

Hi there,

« I believe beauty is not makeup or something on the outside – but it’s something that shines out from the inside of every person. »

I am Patricia Figurski, an award-winning photographer and award deserving mom. Happily married, enjoying life dancing salsa, meeting people, drinking long leaf tea and creating some amazing things in my kitchen.

In the beginning the beYOUtiful campaign was just a facebook group, where ladies shared with me their stories. So often I heard: “I was always the ugly one in the family – I don’t like myself anymore – I feel judged by people around, because I am overweight – I was bullied at school, because of my big eyes – I feel like my time is over…”

In this campaign I am reversing such thinking – through the experience of Glamour photography sessions I am SHOWING each one of them that she is beautiful, that she’s valued, that she is enough. It often changes her entire perspective on life!

When I see her shine – I know I did my job.
